UFC Quick Quote: Michael Bisping would coach TUF to earn Wanderlei Silva rematch

"[The UFC 120 win] felt good. I was dishing out the punishment instead of receiving it. [Akiyama] definitely landed. It was a good shot. He caught me early on, and I did have to recover. It had me seeing double for a while. I feel I’ve grown as a fighter. If I can’t do it now I’m never going to do it. I’d like to fight Wanderlei again, definitely. I would even consider coaching 'The Ultimate Fighter' against him."

Shortly after his winning performance against Yoshihiro Akiyama in front of a hometown crowd, Michael Bisping talks to the press during the UFC 120 post-fight press conference (via Sherdog.com) about getting back into the cage against Wanderlei Silva. The Wolfslair product lost a unanimous decision to the Brazilian at UFC 110 back in February and has been clamoring for another go-round ever since. Simply put, Bisping feels he was robbed by the judges and wants to prove he was (and is) the better fighter. Any fight fans out there siding with "The Count?"

Mr. Velasquez, you are not better than Brock Lesnar (Video)

Mike Pyle: 'John Hathaway never had a chance ... not even for one second'

Quoteworthy:

"I just whooped his ass, hands down. He's not the first undefeated kid I handed their first defeat to. You know, everything Hathaway is good at, I'm better. Tonight I was able to prove that and I knew that coming in to this fight that my wrestling was better and my hands were better. From my shorts at the weigh ins, to 'Born in the USA' coming out, I just rubbed it in their face and on top of that I just smashed their number one boy. He never had a chance tonight. Not even one second."

A fired up Mike Pyle has plenty of crow to go around after coming into his UFC 120 fight against John Hathaway as a +350 underdog. "Quicksand" sank the undefeated Brit for all three rounds, claiming a unanimous decision from "The Hitman" and delivering him his first defeat after a string of fourteen straight wins. Did the victory do enough to convince you that Pyle is ready for bigger and better things within the division? Or does he need another solid performance against a tough competitor to make you a believer?

UFC 120: Don't call him 'Sassangle' -- submissions are 'just natural' to Paul Sass

Would a triangle choke by any other name hurt just as much?

"I don't like the nickname "Sassangle." I don't want a nickname, I don't think. I think it [started] on the Internet. I think (the submission) just came naturally to me. In my first grappling class, I got two triangles off and I only got shown the move by a mate. It just came natural to me in my fights. [Winning in the UFC] was amazing. It was even better because I got the triangle (choke)."

"The Natural," Paul Sass, talks to media at yesterday's UFC 120 post-fight press conference following the promotion's return to the O2 Arena in London. Sass scored "Submission of the Night" for choking out Mark Holst in their preliminary bout, which was the Liverpool native's tenth submission in eleven wins. The breakdown? Eight triangle chokes and two heel hooks. Scary stuff from the undefeated up-and-comer. Anyone else want to see him mix it up on the televised portion of a future UFC card?
