And tells MMA Weekly that he's aiming for a CBS debut so the whole world can witness it...

"When it comes down to it, the thing that matters most to me is being able to fight. I just want to make sure I can get out there and crack as many heads as possible ... [Visibility] matters big time, 'Cause when I dislocate and tear somebody's head completely off their shoulders and spew blood all over the ring, and then drink it, I want the whole world to see it. I'd love to fight on CBS. Punch somebody so hard that their eyeballs pop out of their head. We haven't really hit on any solid dates yet or anything like that, or even opponents ... In due time. There's not too many people all that chomping at the bit and so ready to meet their death."

Controversial heavyweight fighter Josh Barnett promises all sorts of carnage in his Strikeforce debut, which I suppose is better than the sodomy he promised at Impact FC earlier this year against Geronimo dos Santos. Still, fighters have come under fire recently (Mir, Cerrone) for wishing death upon their opponents and "The Babyface Assassin's" comments certainly fall under that category. Is the former UFC champion and current pro wrestler (Japan) delivering his standard kayfabe interview to keep people buzzing? Or is he crossing the line in an effort to resurrect his stateside career?

Mirko also just confirmed that he is okay, telling Sportal.hr:

"I got hit in the eye, but nothing scary. This isn't the first nor the last punch like that. It won't stop me from traveling to fight, and to fight next Saturday against Frank Mir."

Move along. Nothing to see here.

That's according to "The Voice" Michael Schiavello, who made the announcement during the Sept. 17 King of the Cage (KOTC) "No Mercy" event on HDNet:

October 2nd in Seoul, live on HDNet, in a superfight making his K-1 debut, former UFC Heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski, yes we will have live October 2nd from Seoul only on HDNet. Andei Arlovski makes his K-1 debut.

No word on who yet on who his opponent will be but the "Pitbull" has dropped three straight as a mixed martial arts competitor under the Affliction and Strikeforce banners.

The K-1 World Grand Prix Final 16 will go down on October 2 from Olympic Park in Seoul and feature Alistair Overeem vs. Australia's Ben Edwards along with Jerome LeBanner vs. Kyotaro.

More on information on this still-developing fight card as it becomes available.
